Jamie has been teaching Oula for 14 years. Because there is a depth to this journey of being human, Jamie fosters and supports a depth to your play, your strong, your still and your heart. Play is the heart of the practice; we all are movers and shakers. Her movement classes, workshops and retreats focus on cutting edge learning, nervous system science and self compassion and are made up of a welcoming community to meet you on your wellness journey.

Every person wants and has a deep desire to feel and be connected. It is in connection we are seen, heard, felt, and loved. The place of connection is where trust is built, and freedom is allowed. It is here in the individual that creativity, confidence & growth expand. Oula is connection, with self & others. Oula is community.

Because our focus is on “how you feel” rather than “how you look,” our participants experience the freedom of a non-judgemental (of self and of others) environment and community, rather than competition. Our approach to dance fitness is incredibly refreshing and healthy in that our participants experience transformation from the inside out, and embrace our philosophy that movement in our bodies creates movement in our lives.

Oula merges high-intensity cardio with easy-to-follow choreography, mindfulness practices, and a culture of inclusivity — all to an energetic, emotional, and meaningful pop soundtrack. Each Oula class strives to empower participants to challenge their bodies and process their emotions through music, movement, and most importantly, a community connection.

No dance experience needed! You can drop into any class and pick it right up!
